Account email now runs on our own infrastructure rather than a third-party sending service.
Why it matters: registration, email verification and password recovery all depend on mail actually arriving. Private servers routinely have their mail land in spam folders, which turns a forgotten password into a lost account.
The domain is set up with SPF, DKIM and DMARC, and the configuration scores full marks on independent deliverability testing. Mail from a real external provider has been confirmed arriving end to end.
One honest caveat: a brand new sending domain has no reputation yet, so early messages may still land in spam until providers see consistent legitimate traffic. If you do not see a verification email after registration opens, check your spam folder and mark it as not spam - it genuinely helps everyone who registers after you.
The mail server accepts nothing it should not: it refuses to relay for strangers, requires encryption on the submission port, and rejects forged senders.
